The most intimidating question
                                                                    at a job interview

The boyz moved in with me and Robin in 2021 and it took a while for them to get comfy with us. I am in the process of making the major decisions for their lives. Robin and I are involved in the education of the boyz and joins in discussions with them.

Do you have any experience?

Beside being the spot where we highlight the education goals of my son and grandsons, the objective of this site is to work toward achieving the following goals at the pays plat band level.

After covid we now see how situations can change without notice, how we can be manipulated to accept any changes that the government wants to make.

The irony of us having an aboriginal or treaty right to hunt and fish but can only do so if we pass a test of the government to obtain a right to purchase a gun and ammo. This should be considered unacceptable

As for Issues of Food Security, home schooling, aboriginal rights, treaty rights and our traditional territories these are of utmost importance.

Pays Plat
is the french word for
flat place

Introduction

Robin has always wanted to be a carpenter, when he was 8 he worked on a deck with me and his uncle Bryan who worked as a carpenter for decades in the Thunder Bay area

he liked to fix stuff like his computer and devices and has always been mechanically inclined

When COv hit it changed our plans on his education and Robins dreams to work in this field, it became an issue of utmost importance that we find a way to achieve his goals in spite of world  and national events. We know now that almost anything can happen after the events of the last few years.

After considerable discussion on what we should do we came to the conclusion that we need to concentrate on helping Robin to gain the skills he needs by actually doing the task He will be instructed in finish carpentry. When he looks for work and they ask him, do you have any experience he can say yes. and show his work online.

Robin has been working in Sudbury along side his big brother who is teaching him the  ins and out of renovating bathrooms, kitchens and the pro's of subcontracting , ect and when he is home he will be constructing cabinets, doors, shelves and furniture like dressers, desks, book cases ect.
