In Robins work I act as his helper and
his sup ervisor,
meaning that i instruct him what to do and he does the work,
I help him when he requires it as a helper would.
Attention to safety /customer
satisfaction is a big part of Robins training and how to use
tools properly.
We will also be doing woodworking
projects like building small boxes to kitchen cabinets,
furniture pieces , but the price of lumber at the moment
dictates those projects. Robin has a planer/jointer to mill his
own wood.

In 2019 we moved to a house and it needed a new floor in the
basement as it only had an old rug covering the concrete floor.
Under the supervision of his dad, Robin layed out and installed
the floor in the basement spare room and i was his helper and
supervisor .
Robin has multiple experience with powertools and their safe
operations, drills, table saw, mitre saw, jigsaw,
bradnailer, planer, other various skills include multi meter
use, reading tape measure, soldering copper pipes, fittings and
uses, carpentry lingo

These cupboards were painted very
poorly, they were easily scratched and you could not clean
to good they would stain and the paint wore off
excessively in the last two years, so we decided to modify
and repaint them. We have a spray gun but the cold weather
set in and is put on hold.

We
removed the hardware and the paint with a heat gun,
patch/wood filled all the holes, sanded with 80 and 120 grit
sand papers, modified the three cupboards on the end by the
window, we cut out the middle to accommodate a glass and
routed out the edge and rabbet on interior to fit the glass
into. |
